Sound familiar?
Adult ADHD usually looks less like bouncing off the walls and more like chronic overwhelm — and a lot of quiet shame about “simple” things.
- Starting ten things and finishing none of them
- Deadlines that only become real at the last minute
- Reading the same page four times and retaining nothing
- Losing your keys, your phone, and your train of thought
- A lifetime of hearing you have “so much potential”
- A mind that never idles — even when you’re exhausted
How we treat ADHD
- 1
A real evaluation
Not a ten-minute checklist. We take a full history and rule out the common look-alikes — anxiety, depression, sleep problems, thyroid issues — before settling on a diagnosis.
- 2
Medication, done carefully
Stimulant and non-stimulant options, started low, adjusted with you, and monitored properly. When medication is clinically appropriate, it can be genuinely life-changing.
- 3
Structure that sticks
Medication opens a window; habits climb through it. We help with practical systems and coordinate with therapists and coaches when useful.
Evaluated as an adult, finally
Many adults — especially women and high-achievers — were missed in childhood because they compensated: good grades, quiet struggle, late nights making up for lost focus.
If that sounds like you, an evaluation is not an indulgence. It is an explanation, and often the beginning of things getting easier.
Take the ASRS screening6 questions · about 2 minutes · scored on this page, nothing is saved
This screening is private — the scoring happens in your browser and nothing you enter is transmitted or saved. Bring the result to your first appointment, or don’t. Either way it’s a faster start than describing everything from scratch.

Questions we hear a lot
Do you prescribe stimulant medication?
Yes, when an evaluation supports it. Stimulants are first-line treatment for many adults with ADHD, and we also use effective non-stimulant options. All controlled-substance prescribing follows a careful evaluation, monitoring, and current California and federal telehealth regulations.
Can I be evaluated over telehealth?
Yes. If you live anywhere in California, the full evaluation can be done by secure video. Some follow-up situations benefit from an in-person visit to our Newport Beach office.
What if it turns out not to be ADHD?
Then you leave with something just as useful: the real explanation. Anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and burnout can all impersonate ADHD — the evaluation is designed to tell them apart, and we treat those too.
